force: push or pull of an object.
Sentence: I used force on the ball when I pushed it with my foot. push: To press on or against. sentence: I pushed the ball into the net with my hand. pull: to draw an object near to you. sentence: i pulled the door open. gravity: a pulling force of two objects. sentence: the gravity was pulling me down when i jumped. friction: two objects sliding against each other. it slows one object. sentence: when i put my foot down on the ground, my bike slowed down because i created friction between my foot and the ground. compression: force of squeezing or pressing down. sentence: she compressed the orange to make orange juice. tension: force of stretching or straining. sentence: i put tension on my hair when i brush it. buoyancy: upward force of an object created by a liquid or gas. |
